Today, The Co-Pastor Mia K. Wright of my church, Fountain of Praise, said something that really encouraged me. We are all beauty queens and you never see a beauty queen walking with her head down because if she did her crown would fall. Sometime we can let our hair dictate or determine how we feel about ourselves. Our confidence, self-esteem and self worth is not and should not be in our hair.
Why? Because the bible says "for the LORD sees not as man sees ; for man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart." I Samuel 16: 7
So let's learn how to focus on those gifts and talents that He has given us that make us uniquely individuals. And if your hair doesn't look the way you want it to; relax, you're natural.
Focus, meditate on that scripture.
